Safety Equipment Requirement Statement:
Power Wheels

is a fun, kid-focused event usually held at the beginning of the show after our National Anthem. Instead of real cars, kids drive battery-powered ride-on vehicles and gently bump into each other in a controlled area.

It’s Full sized Sedans class generally aimed at making competition simple, cheap, and Restricted to 1977 and newer cars — especially ones that are still available and inexpensive to get hold of.

All drivers must wear a DOT-approved helmet, FR Welding Jacket/ SFI Rated Racing Jacket, pants, AND leather work boots during competition. No driver will be permitted to enter the arena without proper safety gear fully secured. These requirements are mandatory and will be strictly enforced for the safety of all participants. is an entry-level class for small cars that must remain almost completely factory (“bone stock”) with very limited modifications. It’s designed to keep costs low and competition fair.—complete with our unofficial 'drive-it-home' warranty.

is a class for small cars (compact size) that allows more reinforcement and competitive building than a basic “bone-stock” compact class — but not as extreme as full weld or unlimited classes.

is just for mini-trucks, minivans, and sport utility vehicles. It’s usually separate from full-size cars because these vehicles are taller, heavier in certain areas, and built DIFFERENT!

This is usually Open to year on most cars and  a mid-to-high competitive class that allows more variety than a restricted “80s & newer” class. More welding typically allowed.
